About UsAyrshire Network Solutions is a social enterprise offering excellent service at a competitive price.. The IT Sector is one where Consultants regularly command huge fees for jobs that often don't merit the work that is actually done and because most people don't fully understand what's involved, it is seldom questioned. This business was set up to challenge the norm and to offer a professional, quality and honest service to people and businesses.Another area that we hope to make a difference in is procurement. Without proper advice, the wrong equipment is often bought by people who don't have all the information at hand to make an informed decision about their purchases. We can offer sound advice because we are impartial - we do not and will not do exclusive deals with suppliers for profits. We choose our suppliers on their ability to offer us the equipment we specify on the best possible price alone. This helps us to keep our costs to a minimum as we only charge you for the actual price of the parts as well as any installation costs. Our ConsultantsPaul BuchertI graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2002 with a BSc in Computer Studies. Whilst studying at university I gained a detailed understanding of various computers systems and networks. Using this knowledge I can easily assess a customer's IT needs and also provide a high level of after sales support.
I have also been involved in the Voluntary Sector for a number of years, mainly through my work for the Council for Voluntary Services North Ayrshire as well as providing Desktop Training courses for the Three Towns Healthy Living Centre. Gary ParkerMy career includes 15 years with the Royal Mail where I undertook several roles including Process Manager where I was trained as an EFQM Assessor at Aston Business School in Birmingham to deliver the World Class EFQM grade for the Glasgow Sales Centre in their independent assessment. This involved working closely with the team and user groups to re-engineer and automate most of the business processes to keep them in line with the upcoming CRM solution (Siebel) that was to be rolled out nationally. I was subsequently appointed CRM Implementation and Training Manager for this project at the London HQ in partnership with Knowledgepool Training and Deloitte Consulting. I delivered Desktop Training to all users and was involved in the Change Management assessments. I studied at the University of Paisley where I achieved Microsoft Accreditation and I have also been a Group Trainer in the Newspaper Industry. I hold the Advanced Certificate in Marketing Management Practice gaining a distinction as well as a postgraduate degree in Strategic Marketing Management (DipM MCIM) with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.I have been involved in the Voluntary Sector for some time now and I can see many areas where we can help people in disadvantaged communities to take the fear out of IT and help their employment prospects in a part of the country which has higher than average unemployment levels. As a social enterprise, I believe we can make a significant contribution in this area whilst helping businesses with our diverse and innovative range of solutions and services.
